Soil & conservation
Protecting and improving soil health through conservation farming, biochar, and sustainable land management.
MALOOI, MAKUENI COUNTY · KENYA
Equipping farmers. Restoring land. Cultivating lasting hope through Christ-centered agricultural education.
01 / OUR PURPOSE
We exist to equip and empower families in rural Kenya using a faith-based approach to sustainable farming.
Through hands-on training and practical education, we help Kenyan farmers care for their soil, increase harvests, generate income, and build stronger futures for their families. Our goal is local self-sufficiency, not dependency.
How we work ↗02 / OUR ROOTS
The demonstration farm grew from a tree nursery established by the AIC Malooi Youth Group in 2006. In 2010, the youth expanded their work onto approximately three acres of land, planting trees, conserving soil, and creating a place to learn together.
Pastor Kioko Mwangangi envisioned a farm where neighbors could learn practical agricultural skills while finding hope through Jesus.
Kioko's Story ↗We want to teach our community members they can find Hope From the Soil & Hope from Jesus.
— Kioko Mwangangi, Founder

05 / FAITH & FARMING
Our work grew from the local church and a vision to serve neighbors. We care about both physical and spiritual needs, combining agricultural education with Christian discipleship and community.
Training opportunities are open to everyone in the community, regardless of age, gender, or religion.
